Do removable clip correct teeth alignment ?
This is a very common query. Removable clip does not correct alignment problems. In fact removable clip should be used after aligning with fixed braces to help in retention.
Why do we need to extract a few teeth to align ?
When there is inadequate space to align your teeth, it becomes necessary to pull out either 2 or 4 teeth depending on the situation. It is absolutely normal and the extracted space will be closed at the end of the treatment.
What are tooth colored braces (ceramic braces) | Are they advantageous compared to metal braces ?
Ceramic braces are tooth colored which are less visible compared to metal braces. The only advantage is Cosmetics. People who are on the media industry find it extremely useful as they can remove the wire running in-between braces during their shoot program.
